Angelina aviles

Year: Senior

Intro: Hi everyone!! My name is Angelina Aviles and I am beyond excited to be Ohana’s Executive Chair this year! I am from Bellefonte, PA which is like 15 minutes from campus. I am majoring in Marketing with a double minor in Spanish and Information Systems Management. I have been in Ohana for four years now, serving as an OFF (Official Family Facilitator) for my second year and as the Donor & Alumni Relations chair last year. I am ready for another amazing year with this organization and cannot wait to see what amazing things this org can accomplish!!

Why I THON: I THON not only for our six amazing families, but also so that no family has to worry about anything other than their child.

Fun Fact: I dream to travel the world one day!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all executive chairs and ensure things are running smoothly

  • Conduct meetings and communicate with Ohana's advisor and the Internal THON team

  • Serve as Ohana's primary representative and the "go-to" in case of challenges or concerns

Administrative Assistant

Year: Junior

Intro: Hi everyone! This is my third year in Ohana, and I am super excited to serve as Admin this year. I am a junior studying Civil Engineering, and I am from Bethlehem, PA.

Why I THON: I THON so that one day, we can all dance in celebration of a cure.

Fun Fact: I met Saquon Barkley in 2018

Responsibilities:

  • Help plan events for the organization as a whole

  • Assist the executive chair with anything they may need

  • Create a welcoming environment for our members to get to know one another

Family Relations Chair

Quinn Keyes

Year: Junior

Intro: Aloha! I am a Junior double majoring in Criminology and Psychology. I am from Leesburg VA. This is my third year in Ohana! Being in this organization is my favorite thing I do at Penn State and I cannot wait for another amazing year!

Why I THON: I THON for our six amazing families and so one day we can dance in celebration for a cure!

Fun Fact: I spent 42 hours at THON 2025!

Family Relations Chair

Kaley Fisher

Year: Senior

Intro: My name is Kaley Fisher and I am a senior studying Hospitality Management. I am one of the Family Relations Chairs and this will be my fourth year in Ohana.

Why I THON: I THON for the Good’s, Wilson’s, Dawson’s, Brysiak’s, Karkan’s, and the Ducker’s

Fun Fact: I danced in THON 2025 for Ohana!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain contact with our Four Diamond Families all year

  • Inspire the organization to improve motivation and remind them of the importance of our efforts

  • Brainstorm fun ideas and activities for ways to connect with out four Diamond Families

  • Ensure that our Four Diamond Families enjoy themselves to the fullest at any event

Donor Alumni Relations Chair

Megan Heineman

Year: Junior

Intro: Hi, I’m from Philadelphia. I’m an Environmental Resource Management major in the College of Agriculture. This will be my first full year in Ohana, and I’m really excited!

Why I THON: I THON for those who can’t.

Fun Fact: I swam competitively for 10 years

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Ohana related DonorDrive donations and accounts

  • Responsible for any outside donations to Ohana

  • Engage Ohana Alumni with current members

  • Create and maintain a relationship with corporate donors

Logistics Chair

Joe Burian

Year: Junior

Intro: Hi! I’m Joe and I’m from Warrington, PA. I am a Junior studying Aerospace Engineering and have been in Ohana for the past year, and have loved it!

Why I THON: I THON to help save lives and fight for those who are going through the hardest battles.

Fun Fact: This summer during family weekend I went on the rope swing with the Duckers over 10 times!

Responsibilities: 

  • Book rooms for meetings and events

  • Keep accurate records of checks and other fundraising events

  • Keep track of all members' personal points

  • Construct the pass list for THON weekend

Year: Junior

Intro: Business Management joined Ohana my freshman year. Danced in THON 2025

Brayden Erker

Year: Junior

Intro: Hi everyone! My name is Brayden and I’m a fundraising chair! I’m also a Junior Industrial Engineering major. I’m so excited to grow and raise as much money for not only Ohana but for the fight against pediatric cancer. Being a part of this organization means so much to me because of the passion and dedication everyone brings, and I can’t wait to make an impact with this great group of people!

Why I THON: I THON not only for the lives of children I personally know affected by cancer, but for the stories I can’t hear. I want to be a voice made heard for those who can’t share their own, and to be able to do l everything I can to support the families who are fighting battles no one should ever have to face.

Fun Fact: I love to play volleyball and ski

Responsibilities:

  • Organize fundraisers inside and outside of State College

  • Engage members of Ohana to raise money

  • Encourage our families all year in support of the Four Diamonds Fund to end pediatric cancer

Outreach Chair

Sean Kelly

Year: Junior

Intro: My name is Sean Kelly and this is my first year in Ohana exec as the outreach chair. I am from Pennsylvania and a current junior on track to become a physical therapist.

Why I THON: for the hope of finding a cure!

Fun Fact: I have a dog.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan events for leadership and general organization members

  • Foster inclusivity and teamwork within the organization

Merchandise Chair

Dylan Rakvica

Year: Junior

Intro: From Spotswood NJ. Been in Ohana for 2 years. Civil Engineering.

Why I THON: for the families

Fun Fact: I have a boating license

Responsibilities:

  • Design all of Ohana's awesome spirit wear

  • Work closely with companies to come up with a creative look for Ohana

  • Order and distribute Ohana merchandise to members
